It has been an interesting market so far this year. Buyers seem to be accepting that interest rates are not likely to ever return to the 3% range. There seems to be a lot of people looking for real estate in Sonoma County. The very limited inventory is keeping prices stable, however if a home is not priced properly they do tend to take longer to sell. Remodeled homes that are “move-in” ready get more attention and we are still seeing multiple offers. We have had a lot of extreme weather so far this year so I expect that when we start to see some sun and sellers yards start looking nicer that we will see a mini-boom in new listings and sales. Feel free to call me at anytime if you would like to discuss the real estate market and trends further.
